The Both DE and ES are designed with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers power up to 148 horse power and 146 pound-ft of torque, while the other version earns Partial Zero-Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) certification but it’s also down on power a bit with 143 horse power and 143 lb-ft of torque. The lancer gives a decent amount of comfort and a quiet cabin, and provides plenty of thrills in the curves. We found tires to be a bit too economy –minded considering the cars strong performance.

It has price tag in the range of $14,553 to $27,695.
